Is this a generic kit?
No. The quantity comes from your room's volume, surfaces and use, against a published target for that use. Two rooms of the same size with different floors get different lists.
Where do the prices come from?
From the stores' public pages, checked by hand and dated. Florida stores first (Home Depot and Lowe's carry the DIY materials in stock); finished panels ship nationwide.
Do I have to build anything?
You get two options for the same result: a do-it-yourself version (mineral wool batts plus fabric, the cheapest) and a finished-panel version you hang straight out of the box. Choose one.
What does the list not solve?
Bass below about 125 Hz, sound leaking to the neighbors, and exact speaker placement. Those need the $400 treatment plan, and the $39 you pay here is credited in full toward it.
Can I get a refund?
The list is generated the moment you pay, so it can't be returned. If the result looks wrong for your room, reply to the email and we check it by hand.
