ACUSTEGA

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 11, 2026

Acustega (“we”) runs acustega.com, a remote acoustic consulting service. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, who helps us process it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

What you tell us about your room. Dimensions, surfaces, how you use the room, and the reverberation number from the clap test. The clap test runs in your browser: we do not record or upload audio.

Your messages. If you use the chat or the questionnaire, we keep the conversation so we can build your report and answer follow-ups.

Contact details. Your email, and your name or phone if you give them, so we can deliver what you bought and reply to you.

Purchases. What you bought, the amount and the date. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.

Usage data. Pages visited, the referring site, approximate country and device type, through Google Analytics and our own first-party event log.

Why we use it

To calculate your diagnosis and shopping list, deliver your report or list by email, provide the services you hire, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and understand which pages help people so we can improve them.

We send marketing emails only if you tick the consent box. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us to stop them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who processes it for us

  • Stripe: payments.
  • Supabase: database where orders, conversations and contacts are stored.
  • Resend: sending our emails.
  • Anthropic: the AI model that helps write the interpretation in your report, from the room data and messages you provide.
  • Google Analytics: site usage statistics.
  • Vercel: hosting of the website.

Each of them processes the data only to provide their service to us. Some of them store data in the United States.

How long we keep it

Purchase records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Conversations and room data are kept while they are useful to support your purchase, and deleted on request. Usage statistics are kept in aggregate.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, these rights apply to you, and we will not treat you differently for using them.

To make a request, email acustega@gmail.com from the address you used with us. We answer within 30 days.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits. We also keep a small note in your browser’s local storage to remember where you came from (for example, a promotional link) so the right discount applies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working.

Children

acustega.com is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced on the site.
